WASHINGTON, D.C. – Americans spent a record $9.8 billion online on Black Friday and retailers are banking on shattering that number on Cyber Monday.
Adobe Analytics estimates shoppers will spend $12 billion on Monday, up 6-percent from last year, making it the biggest single online shopping day of all time.
Fox News says shoppers are still willing to spend, but they’re also price-sensitive and looking for bargains to fit budgets while coping with inflation and higher interest rates.
The best-selling categories for holiday gifting this year have been electronics like smartwatches and TVs, while home-repair tools have underperformed.
Experts say the bottom line when it comes to Cyber Monday is getting the best deals and discounts.
