PEKIN, Ill. – The Pekin man accused in the death of his infant daughter was back in court on Thursday.
Hunter Waters, 20, had a review hearing scheduled, but was only in court briefly as the hearing was rescheduled to February 15th.
The delay is due to an appeal of a detention order last month that determined he must stay in jail before the trial.
Hunter Waters is charged with First Degree Murder and Aggravated Battery to a Child in connection to the death of nine-week-old Addison Waters.
Addison died in late-November after suffering injuries that included broken ribs, a fractured skull, and a lacerated liver.
