BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Georgia man accused of shooting and killing a Peoria teen at a house party in Bloomington is pleading not guilty.
Tomiyale Anderson, 20, has made that plea in McLean County Circuit Court – charged with Murder, Attempted Murder, and Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Firearm in the death of 17-year-old Kanye Stowers.
The Peoria Richwoods student was at a house in Bloomington in April of 2022 when the shooting took place.
Anderson was arrested in late-December in Chicago, and just recently extradited back to the Twin Cities.
