PEORIA, Ill. – He was supposed to go on trial Monday after being arrested almost a year ago on a home invasion incident, but instead, his case just got dropped.
Peoria County Court records indicate prosecutors dropped charges of Criminal Trespass and Resisting a Peace Officer against Lajuan Porch, 34.
Porch was arrested not long after the reported home invasion in April, 2023, but posted bond and was released from jail after a few days.
The incident was reported in Greenwood Estates on North Braves Court.
It’s not clear why the charges were, all of the sudden, dropped.
