KAYSVILLE, Utah – Peoria is expected to be one of the places next to get some indoor pickleball courts.
Utah-based “The Picklr” – described as an indoor franchise, is going through a rapid expansion, and announced this week it would be opening a 30,000 square foot facility at College Hills Plaza in Normal this fall.
But in the news release, the company says it’s looking to open locations in Peoria, Champaign-Urbana, and the Quad Cities “at later dates.”
It’s not clear where “The Picklr” might open in Peoria.
The Picklr claims it’s signed 154 new locations in a number of states, and 18-hundred courts will be built over the next several years.
