NORTH PEORIA, Ill. – What are the chances of a restaurant being struck twice? Apparently pretty good…at least in Peoria.
A driver crashed into the Arby’s on Allen Road in North Peoria on Sunday afternoon. It’s the second time the building’s been hit recently.
First responders told 25 News, a car crashed into the entrance of the Arby’s just after 1 p.m., when the driver thought their car was in reverse, but was in drive.
When the driver tried to reverse out of the entrance, they hit two other cars in the process.
Although Sunday’s crash wasn’t as serious as a bus crash a few weeks ago, the Peoria Fire Department says one person was taken to a hospital to be looked at.
