PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man has been charged by a grand jury with a discovery of alleged child pornography made last year.
The grand jury Tuesday indicted Rodney Schneider, 43, with a Class-Two felony charge of Possession of Child Pornography.
Not many details are known, but the indictment says Schneider allegedly had a video file of a child under the age of 18 engaging in an act of sexual conduct.
The charge alleges he had the file last July sixth.
Schneider wasn’t arrested until early January, and he’s no longer in jail.
He’s scheduled for arraignment Thursday afternoon.
