BARTONVILLE, Ill. – Illinois State Police say two people are now in custody following a double shooting Tuesday night in Bartonville.
The ISP says the two victims were shot while inside a vehicle on Treasure Street just before 9:30 p.m.
Both victims were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident is being investigated by Illinois State Police, the Bartonville Police Department, the Peoria Police Department and the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office.
No other information is being released at this time.
BARTONVILLE, Ill. – Bartonville Police are investigating a shooting Tuesday night that left two men injured on Treasure Street.
According to a post on the Police Department’s Facebook page, both victims were hospitalized and no arrests have been made.
Police Chief Tony Segree says victims were inside a car when they were shot around 8 p.m.
The Peoria County Sheriff’s Office and Illinois State Police are assisting with the investigation.
