PEORIA, Ill. – We’re learning more about who is believed to be held responsible for a shooting incident Tuesday night in Bartonville that is leaving two people facing charges.
Evan Nettles, 20, and Donald Grant, 17, made court appearances Thursday afternoon on charges of Aggravated Battery and Armed Robbery, Class X felonies.
The two, according to court documents, took cannabis from the two people shot at in the car.
Grant also faces a charge of Attempted Murder.
Both remain held in jail and will be scheduled for arraignment March 21st.

BARTONVILLE, Ill. – One of two people arrested in relation to a shooting Tuesday evening in Bartonville has been identified by Illinois State Police.
Evan Nettles, 20, was arrested Wednesday and booked in the Peoria County Jail. He is scheduled for a court appearance Thursday afternoon.
Nettles is facing two counts of Aggravated Battery and one count of Armed Robbery, all Class X felonies.
The Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office is expected to petition to deny a pretrial release for Nettles.
The shooting occurred in the area of Treasure Street where two men were reportedly shot while inside a car. Both men suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
