BARTONVILLE, Ill. – Another arrest has been made in connection to a shooting Tuesday evening in Bartonville.
Illinois State Police say James Grant, 45, was arrested, with Peoria County Jail records indicating he was booked Wednesday afternoon.
James Grant is facing a charge of obstructing justice. He is the third person to be arrested in the shooting.
Evan Nettles, 20, and Donald Grant, 17, made court appearances Thursday afternoon in relation to the shooting. Both face charges of Aggravated Battery and Armed Robbery, Class X felonies. Donald Grant is also facing an Attempted Murder charge.
Nettles and Donald Grant are scheduled to be arraigned March 21st.
The shooting occurred in the area of Treasure Street, where, according to court documents, Nettles and Donald Grant took cannabis from two people shot at in a car.
