EAST PEORIA, Ill. – The Par-A-Dice Casino in East Peoria will continue to operate, but could also soon receive a facelift.
At Thursday’s Illinois Gaming Board meeting, the board approved a four-year renewal for the casino to continue operating.
At the same meeting, the board also requested the Par-A-Dice to submit a casino project development plan by March 14, 2026. A press release from the IGB mentions a presentation occurred at the meeting about a commitment to a “new, modern, and fresh gaming” facility.
No further details were mentioned.
The city of East Peoria, and Boyd Gaming, the owner of the Par-A-Dice, have not responded to requests for comment.
