PEORIA, Ill. – An entity with its headquarters in downtown Peoria is moving in to a second location not far away from their first.
Marketing and advertising company Simantel says it’s opened up a second location across the alley from its Southwest Water Street home – in the MAXAM Building.
Company officials say discussions about returning to the office post-pandemic, coupled with growth within the organization, led to the need for more space.
“The minute we walked into the space, we knew it was exactly what we wanted,” said Chris Moehn, VP, Executive Creative Director, at Simantel, in a news release. “We created a space that encourages creativity, and that people are proud to work in.”
Simantel says it employs over 160 people. The new home will have a hand-painted mural in addition to a podcast studio, along with more office space.
“Simantel is an ideal fit for the building, and I couldn’t be happier to welcome them here,” said Andy Driscoll, property owner, in the news release. “In a time when we’re seeing businesses reducing scope, it’s encouraging to see Simantel expanding their footprint in downtown Peoria and including the MAXAM as part of their growth.”
