PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria firefighters were called to a home on W. Bradley Avenue just before 9:30 a.m. Tuesday on reports of a fire.
Peoria Fire Battalion Chief Mike Ralston says crews found smoke coming from all sides of the home.
The fire inside an oven was put out quickly, and it was removed from the home.
Other crews rescued three dogs from inside the home, and reunited them with their owner.
A fire investigator determined that the fire was accidental.
Residents were able to return to the home, since there was no structural damage.
No injuries were reported.
