EAST PEORIA, Ill. – An East Peoria home suffered significant damage Sunday evening, after a truck hit it.
East Peoria Fire Chief Bobby Zimmerman says fortunately, no one was home when the incident happened around 5:15 p.m.
The full-sized pick-up reportedly veered off the road and crashed into the home on Bloomington Road.
The driver of the truck was taken to a hospital by East Peoria Fire, his condition was not available.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
