PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man was sentenced to more than two decades in prison for his role in a murder nearly four years ago.
25 News reports 23-year-old Talya Zolicoffer was sentenced to 24 years in prison Monday after taking a plea deal back in January. He is receiving credit for four years served in prison.
Zolicoffer is one of three men who were charged in the September 2020 death of Terrence Dunigan, Jr. after a dice game at West Woodhill Lane.
Mikeal Reed was convicted in 2022 and sentenced to 30 years in prison.
The third person, Keon Patterson, was found not guilty after a bench trial in December of 2023.
