PEORIA, Ill: – Peoria police are investigating a shooting in South Peoria.
Officers responded to a Shot Spotter alert of ten rounds fired in the area of Starr and Westmoreland around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
When officers arrived, they found a 19-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to a hospital with what were described as non-life threatening injuries.
