PEORIA, Ill. – Two teenagers were arrested after an attempted burglary to a Walgreens late Thursday night.
Peoria Police say officers responded just before midnight to reports of two subjects damaging the window of the location at Sheridan and Glen.
Police found a 14-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy that matched the description of the suspects, and were taken into custody after a brief foot chase.
Both were arrested for Attempted Business Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property, and Obstructing Police.
The 14-year-old was taken to the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center, while the 13-year-old was released to the custody of his mother.
