WASHINGTON, Ill. – A Washington man has been arrested during an investigation into an aggravated battery incident.
Washington Police say 33-year-old Kyle Peterson was arrested after a search warrant was executed Monday at a house in the area of Northridge and Mar Vista at around 9:00 A.M.
Police say the warrant was part of an investigation of an aggravated battery incident that occurred on Sunday.
Peterson is charged with aggravated battery causing great bodily harm or permanent disability or disfigurement.
He was taken to the Tazewell County Justice Center.
The incident is still under investigation.
