PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria’s Liv Warfield did not make it to the next round of NBC’s America’s Got Talent Wednesday night, despite having judge Simon Cowell in her corner.
Warfield learned, along with the rest of us, she didn’t have enough votes from the viewers to make the top five, and a chance to compete in the semifinals.
The Peoria Native got rave reviews from the judges Tuesday night, after singing a song written for her by Prince.
In June, Cowell gave Warfield the Golden Buzzer, automatically sending her to the live shows.
25 News reports, even with Warfield out of the competition, Cowell is optimistic about her future.
“I believe great things are going to happen for you,” Cowell said.
Warfield is a 1997 graduate of Peoria Notre Dame High School.
