EAST PEORIA, Ill. – Two men were arrested on residential burglary charges after allegedly breaking into an East Peoria home early Wednesday morning.
Police say officers were called just after 2:00 A.M. to the area of Highview Terrace and Highview Road, spotting illuminated flashlights moving inside the home.
Officers contacted 36-year-old Brady Davis at the rear door as he was reportedly exiting the house with property taken from it.
Davis went back inside but was taken into custody.
Police say 46-year-old James Amick was taken into custody after he fled the scene and later found on foot in the area.
Both Davis and Amick were taken to the Tazewell County Justice Center.
