PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man has died after being involved in a motorcycle crash on July 19th.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood has identified the man as 34-year-old Jeremy Winders.
Winders was taken to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in critical but stable condition, after the crash on N. Douglas Street.
Harwood says Winder’s condition deteriorated over the last month, despite aggressive care and intervention.
Winders was pronounced dead just before 1 a.m. Tuesday at Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria due to significant head and body trauma.
Toxicology tests are still pending, per state statute.
Peoria Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
