PEORIA, Ill. – A shooting in South Peoria Wednesday night has left one man dead.
Peoria Police say the shooting near Martin Luther King Junior Park left a second man with life-threatening injuries.
Officers responded after six shots were fired just before 8:30 P.M. in the area of MacArthur and Johnson.
They arrived to find two adult males down with gunshot wounds. One was pronounced dead at the scene, the other was taken to a local hospital.
Police have no suspects as they investigate.
