PEORIA, Ill. – The mother of an infant found dead in Peoria East Bluff Monday night has been arrested.
Peoria Police says 25-year-old Andrea Luncsford was detained during the investigation.
She was arrested for Endangering the Health and Life of a Child after being questioned by police.
The infant was found not breathing just after 7:00 P.M. in the area of Peoria and Archer, and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The identity and cause of death for the infant has yet to be released.

PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police are investigating a baby’s death after the infant was found unresponsive Monday night.
PPD Spokesperson Semone Roth says officers were called to the 2400 block of N. Peoria Avenue around 7 p.m., finding the baby was not breathing.
The infant was pronounced dead at the scene.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood says the baby was found inside a vehicle.
The baby’s identity, age and cause of death will be released by the Peoria County Coroner’s Office.
