PEORIA Ill. – We’re just days away from the 28th consecutive “Bark in the Park” in Peoria Heights.
This annual fundraiser is put on by the Peoria Humane Society — at Tower Park — and is their biggest source of funding every year.
Kitty Yanko, Director of Peoria Humane Society, talked with WMBD’s “Greg and Dan” Tuesday morning, about what locals can expect from Saturday’s event…
“The best thing, is just seeing the animals. We have best content, best trick, best dressed, which is basically a dress up your dog contest, owner look-alike — that one is kind of one of my favorites, you never know what you will see there,” Kitty Yanko said.
Activities start at 10am Saturday, and run through 2pm.
All pets *must* be on a leash, at all-times.
