COOK COUNTY, Ill. – A Chicago man is facing numerous felony charges after he allegedly sex trafficked a missing teenager from Woodford County.
The Cook County Sheriff’s Office says the FBI contacted them on Wednesday after images of the 16-year-old victim were reportedly found on the websites “Megapersonals” and “Skipthegames.”
An investigator posing as a sex buyer arranged to meet with the victim Friday afternoon at a motel in Cicero, where the victim was recovered and 30-year-old Tervor Moore was arrested.
The 16-year-old was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
The sheriff’s office says Moore allegedly had the victim engage in sex acts, posted ads on the websites, arranged dates with Johns for the victim, and collected payments, while taking half the money for himself.
Moore is charged with Involuntary Servitude of a Minor, Trafficking for Labor/Benefits, and Trafficking for Labor/Recruits.
He was ordered to remain in the Cook County Jail by a judge on Sunday.
