PEORIA Ill. – Two people have been sent to the hospital following a vehicle crash, involving the Habitat ReStore in Peoria.
Just before 4:00pm Tuesday afternoon, Peoria Police received a call of a car, crashing into the side of the store, located near the intersection of West Main and North Douglas streets.
Police said the driver put his foot on the gas instead of the break and crashed into the building.
No one inside the building was injured — no one received a citation — and the two individuals in the car, were taken to a local hospital to be checked out.
Damage assessments to the building, are underway now.
