TREMONT, Ill. – A man reportedly with a shotgun was arrested by Tremont Police Sunday afternoon.
Tremont Police says the 38-year-old was spotted in the area of James and Elm at around 4:15 P.M.
Police say officers deescalated the situation after arriving on scene and negotiated a surrender. He was taken to custody, then to a local hospital for evaluation.
Tremont Police say no one was harmed during the incident.
Police did not release the identity of the male.
