PEORIA, Ill. – Four teenagers were arrested after allegedly being in possession of a stolen vehicle in South Peoria.
Peoria Police say officers observed the stolen vehicle in the area of Griswold and Krause just after 9:15 P.M. Tuesday.
Officers attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle, but it fled to the area of Trewyn and Oregon. That’s where two of the teens fled on foot, but were taken into custody after a brief foot chase.
Two other teens remained with the vehicle.
All four teenagers, males aged 14, 15, 16, and 17, were arrested for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Criminal Trespass to a Vehicle.
The four were taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
