PEORIA, Ill. – A Chicago woman has pleaded not guilty in connection to the death of her infant son in Peoria last month.
Court documents show 26-year-old Andrea Luncsford made the plea Wednesday to one count of Murder and one count of Endangering the Life and Health of Child.
She is due back in court on November 6th, with a jury trial scheduled for November 18th.
Luncsford is accused in the death of her one-month-old son Grayson, who was found unresponsive by Peoria Police on September 16th at an East Bluff house.
Grayson was eventually pronounced dead at the scene.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood this week announced cocaine intoxication as the cause of death for Grayson, with heat stress, dehydration, malnutrition, and neglect as contributing factors.
