PEORIA, Ill. – A 20-year-old woman has been identified as the second victim in a fatal shooting in August.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood says Jakaiden Rynearson passed away Tuesday morning just after 1:15 A.M. at OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home.
Harwood says Rynearson suffered multiple gunshot wounds throughout her body.
Rynearson was the neighbor who came to the aid of 35-year-old Zaneta Winters on the evening of August 11th after Winters was allegedly shot by 43-year-old Stevie Linwood.
Linwood then allegedly shot Rynearson after shooting Winters.
Winters died the next day.
Linwood is charged with First Degree Murder in Winters’ death, but Peoria Police say more charges against him are possible.
