PEORIA Ill. – Two adults, one male and one female, have been arrested following a domestic battery investigation, Wednesday, in Peoria.
Peoria Police were called to a residence on the 1100 block of North Frink — on a report of a domestic dispute between two adults — with one of them allegedly having a handgun.
Once arriving, officers made contact with a female suspect, who later was found to have three active warrants against her — and a 32-year-old man, identified as Michael Johnson.
The female suspect’s identity has not yet been released.
Johnson initially ignored officer’s request to come out of his residence — until members of Peoria’s SWAT and other related divisions took him away without further incident.
The female subject was subsequently arrested for 3 Active Warrants — with Johnson being arrested for Domestic Battery.
Both were transported to the Peoria County Jail.
