GOODFIELD, Ill. – A fire early Wednesday morning has forced the Busy Corner Restaurant in Goodfield to close.
The owners said in a Facebook post that thankfully, none of the staff was there at the time.
The fire was put out quickly by firefighters, but the restaurant sustained damages that will require it to be closed while repairs are done.
The Busy Corner’s team is assessing the full extent of the repairs needed, and will share updates on when they’ll be able to reopen soon.
