PEORIA Ill. – A man was arrested Wednesday in Peoria, for allegedly stealing a vehicle.
Just after 3:30am Wednesday morning, Peoria Police responded to the 4100 block of Brandywine — on a report of a stolen vehicle.
During their investigation, officers located the stolen car in the 1200 block of South West Martin Street — 33-year-old Ishmiel Gates was inside.
Gates was taken into custody without incident — on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle.
He has been transported to the Peoria County Jail.
