GOODFIELD, Ill. – A Woodford County restaurant says it will not reopen until next year after a fire earlier this week forced its closure.
In a Facebook post Saturday afternoon, Busy Corner in Goodfield says it’s still working through the rebuilding process and insurance.
A fire at the restaurant early Wednesday morning forced its closure for repairs and restoration.
A fund has been set up at Goodfield State Bank to support employees of Busy Corner during the closure.
The restaurant also says it will be offering Thanksgiving pies for this year, but on a first-come first-serve basis.
