PEORIA, Ill. – Three people were taken to a hospital after a two-vehicle crash with entrapment Tuesday afternoon.
Peoria Fire says the crash occurred just after 12:45 P.M. in the area of University and Forrest Hill.
Crews freed an entrapped person from one vehicle within five minutes.
Peoria Fire says the three injured suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The northbound lanes of University were closed for over an hour due to the crash.
The crash also damaged a traffic control box in the area.
