Phone outage affecting calls to Peoria government facilities

PEORIA Ill. – The City of Peoria is experiencing a phone outage.

The city sent out a statement early Friday, saying they are experiencing an outage for numbers with a 494 prefix.

AT&T is working on the inbound connection, but there is currently no resolution.

The city said this is part of a larger outage impacting the area.
