Multiple people treated after Monday morning crash involving school bus in Peoria

PEORIA, Ill. – Multiple people were treated at a hospital after a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus Monday morning.

Peoria Police says the crash occurred in the area of Adams and Krause just after 8:15 A.M. when a minivan reportedly ran a red light.

Police say the minivan crashed into a school bus with 14 kids on it.

The minivan driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, and three kids on the bus were taken to a hospital to be checked out.

The crash is under investigation.
