WEST PEORIA, Ill. – Two men suffered non-life-threatening injuries after reportedly being stabbed at a West Peoria bar this past weekend.
Peoria County Sheriff Chris Watkins says deputies were called to Carle Hospital just after 1:45 A.M. Saturday, after a fight occurred at the Owl’s Nest on Callender.
Watkins says an investigation revealed a male walking out of the bar, with a group of males and females following him.
A fight then reportedly happened between the male and the group, with the male then allegedly taking a knife and stabbing two of the males fighting him.
Watkins says everyone then fled, but the male returned to the scene and was interviewed at the Sheriff’s Office.
The two men stabbed were released from the hospital the same night.
Watkins says no charges are being pressed by none of the parties at this time, but an investigation continues.
