MACOMB, Ill. – Three people from Peoria were injured in a crash on Saturday in western Illinois.
Illinois State Police says the two-vehicle crash was reported just after 5:30 P.M. on Illinois Route 336 and County Road 1500 North, near Macomb in McDonough County.
Police say, for unknown reasons, a Volvo truck-tractor semi-trailer driven by 46-year-old Joshua Larson of Pelion, South Carolina crashed into a Chrysler van.
The three people in the van, all from Peoria, were injured and taken to an area hospital with injuries.
They are 43-year-old Jon Post, 21-year-old Owen Post, and 18-year-old Aiden Post.
Larson was not injured, but was cited for improper lane usage.
