PEORIA Ill. – A man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a person — on Christmas Eve.
Just after 1:15pm on Tuesday, Peoria Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of South Stanley, on a report of a person stabbed.
Once arriving, officers located a 41-year-old male with a small cut on his arm — he refused treatment from A-M-T’s on scene.
Then, officers identified 45-year-old Joshua Hayes as a primary suspect, and took him into custody at a residence in the 2400 block of West Grinnell Street.
Hayes was taken into custody without incident and subsequently arrested for Aggravated Domestic Battery.
He was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
