PEORIA, Ill. – A 15-year-old boy has been arrested for first-degree murder for the shooting death of a 39-year-old man about a week ago.
Peoria Police say they searched a home on W. Bradley Avenue late Friday morning, where they arrested the youth and found a 9 mm gun and ammunition inside the residence.
PPD is not saying if the gun was used in the fatal shooting of 39-year-old James Miller, of Peoria, who died last Sunday (December 22) at a home on E. Arcadia Avenue, near N. Peoria Avenue in the East Bluff.
The 15-year-old suspect is being held at the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center.
