COTTONWOOD, Ca. (FOX News) – At least one person has matched all of the numbers to win Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot of $1.22 billion.
The California Lottery says the winning ticket matched all five white balls 3, 7, 37, 49, 55 and the gold Mega Ball 6. The ticket was sold at a Circle K gas station in Cottonwood, California.
Five tickets matched the white balls, but not the gold Mega Ball, earning the ticket holders $1 million each, according to FOX News. Two tickets were sold in California, and one each in Missouri, Arizona and Texas.
If the top winner chooses to take a cash payout, they will earn an estimated $549.7 million.
The last time the Mega Millions jackpot was hit was on September 10.
Mega Millions and Powerball tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Powerball also is sold in Puerto Rico.
