PEORIA Ill. – It’s time to get the masks back out, it seems…
Employees, patients and visitors at OSF St. Francis Medical Center and the Children’s Hospital of Illinois will be required to wear a mask — according to a social media post made Monday.
OSF officials say this is because of respiratory illnesses in the communities, including COVID-19, influenza and RSV — and significant increases in both COVID-19 and influenza infections.
Visitors will also be restricted — only two visitors 18 years old or older per patient at a time will be allowed.
These restrictions come as Tazewell County is seeing high respiratory illness, according to the county health department.
Changes go into effect starting Tuesday, December 31st.
