PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria firefighters used the “Jaws of Life” to rescue three people from a crash that happened Monday evening at War Memorial Drive and Willow Knolls Drive.
Fire Battalion Chief Josh Martin says crews were called to the busy intersection for a multi-vehicle accident around 5:25 p.m. One of the vehicles had rolled on its side.
Crews removed the vehicle’s roof and windshield to get to the three people trapped inside. They were all taken to OSF St. Francis Medical Center for treatment. Their conditions were not available.
