PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Public Works will begin clearing and treating residential streets on Monday.
Street crews have been working to treat and clear Peoria’s main arterial streets since Friday. With this weekend’s snowfall, crews focused on the primary and emergency snow routes.
Crews will now enter the residential areas, since neighborhoods are plowed after 2 inches of snow has fallen in the city, and the snow has stopped.
As street crews work to treat the residential streets, give their vehicles extra space, and continue to be mindful of road conditions and drive with caution.
