PEORIA Ill. – One man was arrested for allegedly stabbing another individual, sending them to the hospital, early Tuesday morning.
Just before 1:00am — Peoria Police were dispatched to Northeast Jefferson Street — on report of trouble with a male.
Once arriving, officers located an adult male with a stab wound to the arm.
The individual was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
While conducting their investigation, police arrested 32-year-old Jacob Mitchell.
Mitchell told police he did stab the victim — and was subsequently arrested for aggravated battery.
He’s been transported to the Peoria County Jail.
