PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. – A man from Laura, Illinois is facing multiple sex crime charges, and has been indicted by a Peoria County Grand Jury for predatory criminal sexual assault of someone under the age of 13.
Peoria County arrest records show 35-year-old Matthew Webb was first arrested on Aug. 16, last year on charges of aggravated criminal sexual assault, predatory sexual abuse, manufacturing harmful material and sex relations within families.
Webb was released from the Peoria County Jail two days later. On Aug. 26, he was arrested again for child pornography and has been jailed ever since.
According to 25 News, Webb is scheduled to be arraigned on that charge this Thursday (Jan. 23).
Predatory criminal sexual assault is a Class X felony and carries a sentence of six to 60 years in prison, if convicted.
