TAZEWELL COUNTY, Ill. – A 43-year-old Creve Coeur man suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle this Monday morning.
The Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office says the crash occurred on West Muller Road near Cole Hollow Road just after 6:15 A.M.
Deputies say the man was walking eastbound in the area when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle.
The East Peoria Fire Department took the man to the OSF Saint Francis Emergency Room.
Sheriff’s deputies say the driver of the vehicle is cooperating with authorities.
The Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office and Illinois State Police are investigating.
