PEORIA Ill. – “The voice of a generation” is coming to the Prairie Home Alliance Theater at the Peoria Civic Center, on April 9th.
Civic Center officials announced Monday, legendary musician, Bob Dylan, will be making a stop in Peoria – as he recently released his plans for another nation-wide tour.
Peoria Civic Center General Manager, Rik Edgar, told WMBD Radio’s “The Phil Luciano Show,” the opportunity to host Dylan, practically came out of nowhere.
“This is one that has bubbled up a couple times, and we made it well-known that we would love Mr. Dylan to come to our room. It looked like it wasn’t going to happen for a while, and then we literally get a phone call saying, we want to go on sale next week. Okay, let’s make it happen,” Edgar said.
Bob Dylan is playing in Peoria, on April 9th, in the Prairie Home Alliance Theater at the Peoria Civic Center.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, February 7th at 10 AM.
