PEORIA Ill. – The man who allegedly shot an individual in the leg last month, at the Lexington Hills Apartment Complex, will remain in jail until his trial.
According to the Peoria County State’s Attorneys office, in a detention hearing Tuesday, 20-year-old Robdeario Moore was charged with Aggravated Battery with a Firearm and Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm.
On January 14th, just after 5am, police were dispatched to the 3400 block of West Oakcrest Drive following a report of a man who had been shot.
Upon arrival, officers found a 22-year-old male lying in the doorway of one of the apartment buildings with a gunshot wound to his leg.
During the investigation, the victim identified Moore in a photo lineup as the person who had shot him.
The investigation is ongoing, according to Peoria Police.
